DESCRIPTION:The men’s retreat is a time for building friendship with other men and growing in our walk as disciples of Jesus. \nThis year’s theme is the “Man\, the Moment\, the Mission.” What is godly manhood? What does it mean to be a believer in this generation and moment in history? What is the specific mission God has for you? Be equipped and strengthened\, and get ready to have fun. \nThe retreat will be held Friday\, October 8\, through Saturday\, October 9\, at Cedar Lake Ministries in Indiana. The schedule includes ample time to enjoy each other’s company and multiple leisure activities\, including:  rock climbing\, 9-Square-in-the-Air\, basketball\, baseball/kickball backstop\, sand volleyball\, a beach\, ladder golf\, and more. \nCheck-in is from 4-6pm on Friday\, October 8\, with the first session starting at 6pm. DESCRIPTION:Join our Rez Youth mission trip\, “Mission : Together”! Learn what God is doing in and through the Latino community in Chicagoland. \nThis trip is a joint service and learning opportunity alongside youth and leaders from Aviva Anglican Church. Aviva congregations meet both here in our cathedral (Sundays at 1pm) and in Little Village\, a predominantly Mexican immigrant neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago. In this trip Rez youth will serve alongside youth from Aviva to reach the Little Village neighborhood via a vacation Bible school and soccer outreach. They will also learn biblical perspectives on immigration\, race and culture while visiting places like the home of Martin Luther King\, Jr.\, and his family while he fought housing segregation. \n\nAges: This mission trip is for current 8th-12th graders. Due to COVID-19 realities\, we only have slots available for 20 youth this year.\nCost: $400.
