Why Prayer 21?
We are a church built on prayer and fasting. In a season of change at Resurrection, where we don’t know what the next season of ministry will look like, we do know that we need to pray and fast to get there.
Join the prayer initiative, come pray with us in the chapel, and consider fasting during these 21 days.
Daniel 10:2–3
Daniel Fast
Many people will be doing a Daniel Fast, which comes from Daniel 10:2-3. In a season of seeking the Lord, Daniel restricted his diet and prayed for 21 days until the answer came.
Typical restrictions include:
Alcohol
Meat
Refined sugar
Caffeine

What are we asking God for?
Leadership
For over two years we have been waiting for and searching for the next head pastor to provide the spiritual headship our church needs. We have other key leadership roles vacant as well, including a children’s pastor and worship leader, and we are urgently crying out to the Lord to provide for our leadership needs.
A Move of God
The urgency of this season is not in our corporate church life only. Many of us are desperate to see a move of God in us personally, and in the lives of those we love. We are praying for breakthrough, revival, and renewal in our lives, our church, our community, and indeed the nation and the world. And we are asking the Lord to show each one of us what part we have to play in seeing the Kingdom come.
