Part-time Freelance Work: Facility Guides for Special Events
A Facility Guide is a member of Rez who is a detail-oriented, multi-tasker with excellent people skills. Resurrection offers facility rentals for special events to members or people highly connected with the church. Facility Guides oversee the event preparation and execution related to space and equipment usage, and coordinate with renters. They answer questions, help direct event set-up and clean-up, are present whenever renters are in the facility, and operate limited church equipment (coffee maker and mobile audio kit). They are not responsible to physically set up or clean up for events, nor provide janitorial services. Facility Guides are not staff members, but are freelancers paid an hourly rate. Each event ranges from roughly 5 to 30 total hours of work.
