RezKids

A sanctuary where kids encounter Jesus

In RezKids, we support children and families as they grow in their faith together. Our vision is for children to grow in their relationship with Jesus and his Church. All children hear from the Bible, sing songs, make friends, and participate in Holy Communion with their parents in the service.

Nursery (Birth–24 mos)

Even our littlest ones encounter Jesus through a simple time of singing praises and listening to a Bible story. We provide a safe, fun space where you can rest assured knowing your child lovingly cared for and experiencing God on their own level!

Preschool and Kindergarten

We invite our preschoolers into worship using hands-on activities, special crafts, simple songs, and interactive Bible stories and lessons to explore the basics of Scripture.

Special Needs Support
The RezKids Buddy Program supports children with special needs. Buddies are trained volunteers who worship, play, and learn alongside the children. If you are interested in having a Buddy paired with your child on Sunday mornings, email christinawestberg@churchrez.org or mattprechter@churchrez.org. You can learn more about our ministry to and with families who are impacted by disability here.

If you are interested in baptizing your child, please email Christina Westberg below.

Baptism

We welcome infants and children who will be raised by families of faith into the church through the sacrament of baptism.

Traditionally, we baptize on four days: Easter (Spring), Pentecost (Summer), All Saints (Fall), and Baptism of Our Lord (Winter). All families who wish to baptize their child(ren) are asked to complete an application.

If you have questions or want to learn more, please contact Christina Westberg at christinawestberg@churchrez.org

Serve

Serve our precious children on our dynamic team! No matter your gifts, we have a place for you.  Because one of our main priorities is the safety and security of children, we ask every potential volunteer to complete three steps before jumping on board!

Our Child Protection Process, including background check, must be completed before serving in RezKids.

Our child and youth protection policy has been in place since 2006 and undergoes periodic review and upgrades. The current version was published in 2022 after a year-long period of significant research and review. The primary purpose of our policy is to promote the safety and well-being of children and youth by providing clear instructions about the operation of children and youth ministries.
