A burning bush. A pillar of fire.
A tongue of fire.
Do you long to be led by the Lord, to glimpse the wilderness ablaze with his presence, to accept his refining work in your life? Fire in Scripture reveals the presence, guidance, and refinement of God.
As we emerge from the depths of winter—and indeed from a turbulent couple of years—our hearts long for light in the darkness. You’re invited to reflect upon how God uses fire in the Bible both to remind us of his presence and fill us with his life.
Join us at the beautiful St. Mary of the Lake campus as we pause our daily rhythms to gather intentionally for rest, worship, and reflection. Deacon Margie Fawcett will teach on the theme of fire in the Scriptures. We will share in worship, fellowship, and Eucharist. Enjoy optional activities such as prayer walks, small group reflection, individual prayer, and community exercise and relaxation.
