Dear Resurrection,
I am delighted to announce that Amy Patton has agreed to return on a part-time basis as our Interim Children’s Pastor. We have been blessed by Amy’s many leadership gifts on staff at Resurrection. Amy is an excellent fit for this position, as she laid the foundations for the current structure of RezKids as our former Children’s Pastor more than a decade ago. She has also served as former Executive Pastor of Staff, and is currently Executive Director of Gregory House, the diocesan training school for future leaders.
Amy’s primary role is to provide oversight and coaching for Christina Westberg and Matthew Prechter as they lead their respective areas.
Christina is serving as our Interim Director of Early Childhood Ministry. She was Early Childhood Manager the last two years and started volunteering in RezKids in 2016.
Matt is our Interim Director of Elementary Ministry, previously serving as Elementary Manager. He began volunteering with RezKids in 2018. We are grateful for Christina and Matt’s demonstrated passion for serving our children and families.

We have been working on long-term plans for our children’s ministry and will finalize them this fall after Dean Steve returns from sabbatical. We are committed to the vision of RezKids to shepherd our children into a closer relationship with Jesus and his church.
