Constant in prayer

By Timothy Ickes

When I look at an owl, I think of wisdom. Scripture teaches us that if anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him (James 1:5). Wisdom also comes through prayer. This drawing of the owl reminds me to be constant in praying (Romans 12:12), bringing our big and small requests to our Father in Heaven, who loves us as his children. Like the owl being alert, watching, waiting, we can be constant in our prayers to God.
