Joy comes in the morning

By Dorothy Ickes

Being joyful in hope may not always be easy. When the future is uncertain, such as in these pandemic times, to be joyful in hope can feel difficult. When asked by her mother about one of her greatest fears, she replied, “That COVID would not go away.” God uses a rainbow to remind us of His promise to never again destroy the earth. Despite our sin and brokenness, God is committed to his beautiful creation. This drawing of a rose surrounded by the rainbow of hope reminds us to be joyful as we hope, trusting in the One who can do all things.
