Lily with bee

By Catherine Ickes

I created this piece with my father using pencil and watercolor. We practiced slow drying as that we were ants crawling on the petals. As bees gather pollen from flowers, we are reminded of the patience encouraged of us and Romans 12:12. Buzzing from flower to flower, bees also remind us joyfulness— staying active and hopeful, even during hardship.
