Dear Resurrection,
Last week we discovered a potential breach of our church communication systems. The perpetrators would have accessed only basic contact information, such as email addresses. No financial data was compromised.
I am so sorry if this happened to you. We take your privacy very seriously and do not share your personal information outside of church ministries that you are involved in, such as RezGroups or volunteer teams. We are investigating how this violation of your privacy may have occurred.
Furthermore, we are aware that some of you received an unsolicited email seeking to gain signatures for a petition of complaints against Bishop Stewart. It mentions a few grievances involving people from Resurrection, all involving situations about which I am already aware.
If you have any questions or would like to talk to a pastor, please feel free to reply to this email. One of our pastors will respond as quickly as possible.
