Harbor

Whether you’re passing through or looking to stay a while, Harbor is for adults in their 20s & 30s to have fun and build community. Finding belonging can be difficult. Harbor is a place of rest and refreshment—a place for people to find their people. Once a month, we gather for fun and fellowship together: friendsgiving potlucks, bonfires, trivia nights, social dances, and more! We hope you will join us and help us build our community together.

Lindsey

Lindsey Bergsma

grew up in Northern Michigan on the border of Canada and found a home at Rez in 2014 when the celebration of Easter changed everything. She has a deep passion for people and connecting them with each other and the Lord. You can find her playing ultimate frisbee, watercoloring, hosting friends, or adventuring (ideally all at once)!

RJ Boyle

was born and raised in the Wheaton area. He has called Rez his church home since 2019 and is passionate about life in community. When he’s not hanging with Harbor you can find him in the Northwoods of Wisconsin (HoneyRock!), sipping on a mocha (shoutout to Kindred in West Chicago), or tearing it up on the pickleball court.

Christina Westberg

has attended Rez since 2015 and loves working on staff as the Children’s Ministry Director. She routinely pilgrimages back to her home state of Minnesota to explore the lakes and hear the loons. Ask her what she learned by reflecting on a graffitied Italian goat statue for four weeks!

Jon and Emma Sather

live in West Chicago with their three magnificent, outdoor-roaming cats and will welcome their first child, a baby girl, in October. Jon has attended Rez since 2012, where he has led the same RezYouth small group for five years. Find him on the disc golf course! Emma has been here for two-thirds of her life, since she was in RezKids. She works in the buying department for your favorite grocery store (did you remember your cart quarter?). Ask her who she thinks should win Survivor this season!
