Operation Baby Bank
distributing baby supplies to mothers in need
Expectant mothers, especially those navigating unplanned pregnancies, need our help. Together with longtime local partner, Caring Network, we house and distribute baby supplies (such as diapers and wipes) from our church warehouse to parents in need. Due to limited supplies, parents must be referred by Caring Network.
Donate Diapers & Supplies
Help provide diapers and baby supplies for expectant mothers and new parents struggling to provide for their families.
Current needs: visit our Walmart or Amazon wishlists.
Drop off baby supplies in the East doors vestibule from Monday to Thursday 9-5, and Friday 9-1.
Or ship to: “Operation Baby Bank,” Church of the Resurrection, 935 W. Union Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
Are you a partner church or organization with a large quantity of supplies? Please contact our Missions Manager at emilytalbott@churchrez.org to coordinate your delivery to our warehouse.
If you’d like to sponsor and pray for a Baby Bank family, make a financial donation, or have other questions about this ministry, please contact Heather Johnson: 630-251-9185 or heatherlyn3johnson@gmail.com“

Health & Safety
Read each section below for a full understanding of the distribution process and the steps we are taking to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Health Warnings
The CDC reported it may be possible to get coronavirus after touching a contaminated surface and then touching your face, though the World Health Organization says that likelihood is low. The virus is thought to spread mainly person to person through respiratory droplets when someone sneezes or coughs.
The National Institutes of Health says a study suggested the virus that causes COVID-19 can stay on surfaces like plastic and stainless steel for up to three days. The study also found the virus can live on cardboard for up to 24 hours.
The same study finds that COVID-19 lives for 3 hours as an aerosol.
Safety Precautions
- Please do not volunteer if you or a household member are not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
- If you or anyone in your household is ill, please wait to volunteer until everyone has been fever-free for at least 24 hours.
- When arriving at the church, please proceed to Doorway #11 on the North side of the building.
- If you have a mask please put them on before entering the building.
- If you do not have a mask you can pick them up inside the warehouse.
- Don’t touch your face
- Please follow the instructions below
- Assume that items on the distribution table have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Clients will pull up at the door. They should say that they’ve been sent by “Avenue Women’s Health.” This is the pregnancy outreach ministry of Caring Network.
- Smile and show Christ’s love. We get to play an incredible role in the saving of a life of a child AND minister Christ’s love to a mother and/or father who has chosen life.
- The clients should remain in their car.
- Using the checklist, ask them what items they need.
- At this point, due to limited supplies, they can receive one of each item requested.
- Ask them to park in one of the spaces.
- Go into the warehouse.
- Grab one of the boxes or bags found on the shuffle board table.
- Select the items requested.
- Return outside to the client’s car. Ask them to pop the trunk or hatchback. Place the items in their car.
- Shut the trunk or hatchback.
- Send them on their way with a Smile.
- Wipe your hands with the Lysol or Clorox wipe.
- At the end of your shift, dispose of any PPE in the trash can.
- Upon returning home, we recommend showering and wash your clothes.
