RezKids Guide
Sunday Morning Check-in and Pick-up Procedures

Check-in Procedures
Our mobile check-in station is located north of the sanctuary, under the colorful “RezKids sign” hanging from the ceiling. When a parent checks in a child, they receive an adhesive name tag and call tag. The name tag should be affixed to the child’s clothing, and the call tag should be kept by the adult or older sibling.
Elementary age children gather for worship in the RezKids worship room behind the check-in station.
Children from nursery through kindergarten should be dropped off in their respective classrooms:
8:30 service
Family Worship Classrooms
Ages 0-2: (Sprouts room), age 2 (Saplings rooms)
North RezKids Hallway
age 3 (Sassafras room) ages 4 & (pre-k) 5 (Sycamore room), and Kindergarteners (Kindergarten room)
10:30 service
Family Worship Classroom
Ages 0-2: (Sprouts room)
North RezKids Hallway
ages 2-3 (Sassafras room), and ages 4 – K (Sycamore room)

Pick-up Procedures
Children’s worship ends before the eucharistic liturgy, so that children may participate also.
Nursery - Kindergarten:
At the passing of the Peace, parents please pick-up your child(ren).
Bring your call tag to check-out your child(ren) from their RezKids room.
Elementary:
At the Offertory (immediately following announcements), elementary children will be led by their shepherds and dropped off in the sanctuary chute (the area between the balconies).
Children will locate and sit with their parent(s) while elementary shepherds monitor the process and assist any children needing help locating parent(s).
Parents of elementary children, please remain in your seat unless you notice your child has returned to the chute for assistance from a shepherd.
Your child will still receive a name tag at check-in and you will receive a call tag, but we will not check call tags for elementary children during drop-off.
FAQs
What if my elementary child(ren) can't find where I'm sitting?
The elementary children will be instructed every Sunday to return to the chute if they need help finding their parent(s). Shepherds of each grade will be responsible for monitoring to ensure each child in their grade has found his/her parent(s). Pastor Matt Prechter or Christina Westberg will also be monitoring the drop-off process and will assist as needed.
What if I need to pick-up my elementary child(ren) early?
In this case, you will need your elementary call tag issued at check-in.
What about children and parents who are visiting?
Our shepherds and coordinator provide special support to visiting children. Welcome cards (coming soon!) will be distributed at the check-in station to explain our drop-off procedure. In addition, the Children’s Pastor greets new families at the check-in station and explains our pick-up/drop-off procedures.
