Thanks to the intentional discipleship of my devoted parents, I knew from a young age that God loved me and that I wanted to be a part of His story. I was always enthralled by the descriptions
in the Bible of the special relationships the heroes of the faith had with God. I wanted to be after his heart like David, open to his plan like Mary, and trust his Word in the darkness, like Joseph.
Since those early days, when my imagination blossomed in response to the call of the Kingdom, my journey has been full of unexpected and often painful experiences that have stretched my
faith, but through it all, I’ve witnessed the profound power and love of Christ’s sacrifice for me. As my favorite singer-songwriter, Sara Groves wrote: “In all the world, nothing’s taken hold of
me like Christ.”
As the Office and Facility Manager at the Church of the Resurrection, I am passionate about serving Christ’s body by maintaining his house and ensuring that our space is a blessing to our
community. It’s a privilege to see the power of a well-utilized space bringing people together to grow in faith.
I’m a proud native of the Pacific Northwest, and I love mountains and glory in dreary weather. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, painting, photography, and buying too many tiny purses from
thrift stores. I hold a degree in Fine Art from Hillsdale College, and I also enjoy learning about biology and earth science in my free time.
