THRIVE
THRIVE is Church of the Resurrection’s ministry to and with families who are impacted by disability. The vision of this ministry is twofold:
To support, care for, and encourage families and individuals impacted by disabilities
To educate and encourage all to see that individuals with disabilities are indispensable members of the church body
With these two goals, THRIVE aims to see our church become a community of belonging and flourishing for all.
Our beautiful daughter Zoe could not attend RezKids alone due to her disabilities. She was assigned a team of two Buddies who each came along her side twice a month. These Buddies helped Zoe be a part of RezKids, while we were able to worship and receive from the Lord. We were desperate for that short break and to be present in the liturgy. Forever grateful for those amazing people who served as Zoe’s Buddies and loved our family!
